Soyuz TMA-11 Ready for Oct 10
Malaysian Research Angkasawan Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor; Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, Soyuz Commander and ISS Flight Engineer; and American Astronaut Peggy Whitson, the first female International Space Station Commander for Expedition 16 are set for launch October 10, 2007 from the the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Everybody else is called astronaut/cosmonaut, while our angkasawan is merely called spaceflight participant. Interesting huh?
